Important Message from the Yuba City Unified School District and the Sutter County Health Department:
The first two cases of H1N1 flu in the District were just confirmed by local health officials at River Valley and Yuba City High Schools. The District and the Health Department are actively monitoring the H1N1 flu virus in our community.
We assure you that the District is taking all precautions to ensure the safety of our students and our school environments.
Parents are asked to monitor their children for flu-like symptoms and notify their health care provider if symptoms arise. Please do not send sick children to school.
Thank you for your assistance with taking all precautions for the wellness of your children. Please remind children to wash their hands often with soap.
For more information, please call the CDC at 1(800)232-4636.
